One medium glass
500 g white onions
500 ml white wine vinegar
One small handful fresh thyme
1 tbsp. salt
Heat a pan and add salt and vinegar and bring to boil.
Slice the onions finely with a sharp knife. Place in the pan and reduce the heat to medium heat and let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
Push the onions under the surface with a wooden spoon.
When the onions have softened use a slotted spoon to transfer them in to a jar. Make sure the jar is clean and sterilised.
Close the lid and leave to cool. Ready to eat.
